The Copyright Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The Copyright Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan is the central executive content_en that carries out the state policy in the field of copyright and related rights, intellectual property rights on the expressions of Azerbaijani folklore (traditional cultural expressions), integrated circuit topographies, and compilations of data (hereinafter called as intellectual property rights) and provides the normative-legal regulation and development, as well as coordination of activities in this field. 

In its activities the Agency is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Decrees and Orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Decisions and Orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as, international agreements the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party to, and Statute of the Agency.
